legendary founder of Korea, in the
year 2333 BC.
This page will help you learn how to perform Dan-Gun (sometimes written as Tan-Gun). This is the Taekwondo America yellow belt form. Dan-Gun is the second form learned by Taekwondo students.

1. Left foot turns 90º counter-clockwise to Left Back Stance, Left Double Knifehand Block
2. Right foot steps forward to Right Front Stance, Right Punch High
3. Right foot turns 180º clockwise to Right Back Stance, Right Double Knifehand Block
4. Left foot steps forward to Left Front Stance, Left Punch High
5. Left foot turns 90º counter-clockwise to Left Front Stance, Left Low Block
6. Right foot steps forward to Right Front Stance, Right Punch High
7. Left foot steps forward to Left Front Stance, Left Punch High
