Several years ago, I had a mother come into the school and told me her daughter couldn’t continue taking class because of the upcoming school year. I was puzzled. “I don’t understand.” I asked. “Why do you think you have to take your kid out of class due to school?” The mother was obviously overwhelmed as she nervously said, “Because she has started taking AP classes. In a culture that seems to glorify violence in everything from music to video games and television shows, the idea of enrolling your child in martial arts training classes doesn’t always seem like a good one. Recent studies on children

Recent studies indicate that children are less physically fit today than in past generations.

Taekwondo is an excellent way for children to receive the proper exercise and fitness training they need, while also learning the art of effective self-defense.

Children learn how to reach their full potential through our confidence building martial arts program. Direct but caring instructors provide expert training in a fun, safe and disciplined environment to produce positive results.  We develop vital skills of focus, respect, discipline, self-esteem and responsibility.

We teach these kiddos how to punch and kick…correctly!  Our Taekwondo program uses children’s fascination with karate and other martial arts to teach them a practical, responsible self-defense program with numerous other benefits, both physical and mental.

Students and parents report that Taekwondo is a terrific supplement to keeping the children active and fit during off seasons of baseball, basketball, football and soccer.  However, it is not just for athletes.  Taekwondo will greatly improve any person's fitness and flexibility.  They’re having so much fun that they don’t know it’s work!
